Tunnel Vision
My thought process is different from most. When I go out into the world, instead of seeing everything, I get stuck on one item and can’t stop looking. Instead of paying attention to the most important aspect of a room, I normally focus on a random item I may see in the corner of my eye. After realizing it exists, I can stare at that one insignificant thing for hours. Because of this, I have memorized countless license plates, the location of where my food is sourced at many restaurants, and so many other pointless details. Through my project, I wanted to illustrate how I view the world and how my mind becomes tunnel vision. In this series of images, I used selective focus to show you the things in my everyday life that draw my eye the most.
